Best tomato pie I've ever had. Most tomato pies are too sweet for my taste. This was full of tomato flavor, without being too sweet or acidic. A nice amount of Romano cheese on top, with a crispy crust. Wish I found this place years ago, but I know I'll keep coming back. I ate half the pie on the way home, I couldn't resist.
Had a simple cheese and sauce, and also a sausage, onion and peppers. Was very good. For people who don't know these pizzas are made different. Ingredients first, cooked on the crust then brought out and sauced. Parmesan then added on top of sauce.
I used to love this place. My opinion has since recently changed. I went in to pick up up my pie and was told to have a mask on or leave. Funny when the only one working out of 6 people behind the counter didn’t have his mask on over his face. I will never go here again. The place has gone down hill and hopefully it will get shut down.
This place is exactly how I remember it although it has been switched around a little bit inside the pizza is still exactly how I remember from years ago a very distinctive pizza with a very distinctive taste very pleased next time I am there from out of town I will be stopping back
Best pizza ever. Hands down. Sauce is amazing. We drive from Syracuse to Utica often to get a few pizzas. Just doesn’t get any better than Joes Pizza.
