This is an amazing piece of modern history. One of the first places (if not the first) long range transmission of electrical power in the world to buffalo. Incredible it still survives. Beautiful building to boot! Would be a goldmine of a tourist attraction for the history of electricity at the falls

I'm not sure why Something has not been done with this Historic Building. I wish Tesla's achievements at Niagara would finally be Recognized, the only remaining building from the Power Station that started the distribution of Electricity should not just be sitting there unrecognized. For whatever reason over the last Century that's What has happened. Shameful really. Hope this Abondoned Power Station gets some Private Interest seeing The State of New York and City of Niagara Falls Governments are content with Tesla's achievements at Niagara remaining Out of The Publics Mind and View. Hopefully I Live to see the day when A Tesla at Niagara Museum becomes a Reality. Maybe some National Interest and Investment would get it done.

Cool interactive science exhibits describing electricity, Native American culture, geology, and the history of power generation in the area.nWhile I'm disappointed to not go into the plant, the view from the observation deck is fabulous and the experience was great.

This is an historic building that has been closed down for many years. It was the site of the very first Power Plant in Niagara Falls using Tesla's designs. It is now privately owned and is not open to the public yet. There are ongoing talks of possibly turning it into a Tesla Museum sometime in the future.
