I love the Sands Point Preserve and thanks my friends Geni and Alex for discovering this place. Great picnic area, nice playground area. Lovely hiking trails along with a picturesque pond as we head on the 5 minute walk towards the beach. The beach is a hidden little gem. The sand has a bunch of pebbles which I love throwing and skipping against the somewhat calm waters off the shore. Best part was going for a swim. My new favorite state park.

Don’t go during COVID time. They charge you 15$ for parking but the building is closed while online it says open. I didn’t want to turn around because I drove for an hour to see this place. Hopefully to see this place during normal time. Beautiful place tho

Nice place to go. There is a little kid's park with swings and fun things to do. Nice parking lot. Many different trails to walk around in the forest. Also there is beach access. Overall great place. Could spend all day there

Beautiful place, relaxing atmosphere. I literally took off my shoes and walked over grass. Loved it. My daughter had great time on playground. Places like this gives you opportunity to breath in full.

Lonely nature trails, picnic tables near a pond with turtles, cross country running trails, great views, beach trail as well and of course a cattle. They also have a nice playground for toddlers and children.nSome of the trails are suited for strollers.nWe came with our one-year-old. She enjoyed waving at the many dog owners and trying to pet their leashed dogs.nThe place is beautiful and has something for everyone. Will definitely come back here.nAdmission was 15$ per car or 4$ per person walking in.
