It’s very nice, I prefer going off-season cause I can’t go in the summer (not a local resident that’s why). Great views and brings back childhood memories

Beautiful park but filthy shoreline. I noticed upon entering that you have to be a resident but since I visited off season I didn’t have to show ID. This park has a playground for kids, A beautifully landscaped lawn and gardens, docks on the Long Island Sound. But as I walked along the beach I couldn’t believe the amount of plastic bags, bottle caps, bottles, construction debris that I saw.. I started to clean it up but it was too much for one person. Please help,

Spectacular views of the Long Island Sound and Manhattan skyline are available only for Great Neck residents this year. Only alternative parking spots are open in the parking area to keep park from overcrowding. The park amenities include a playground for children, outside and inside party spaces, beautifully landscaped gardens, some seating areas, tiny pool and beach access.
