I shopped at food emporium today because shoprite parking lot in New Hyde Park was an obstacle course. Plenty of parking at Food emporium. Customer service was really nice. Some isles are too narrow and it is a problem when people walk the wrong way. Overall the store's setup was good. Disappointing that the prices were high on most things. However I will be back.
Great supermarket with lots of stock and variety. It is quite small so it does get very crowded on peak times so I tend to like to go on off times like weekdays to avoid the crowds especially during the pandemic but overall a nice place to shop.
Good place for quick pick ups. The sales aren't as great as other stores a little further away, but I'm not talking dollars here, more like a few cents. The selection is good and the staff friendly and helpful.
