I highly recommend Tsontos Furs! Bill and his staff are the best. I took my grandmother's long white mink '80s style fur coat to Tsontos to see how we could remodel it. I wanted the coat to be something I could wear everyday or dressed up. Bill had so many options for me in terms of style but really helped guide my selection and assured me it was going to be beautiful. It came out GORGEOUS. It's a stunning coat that I can actually wear now. My only regret is not bringing it to Tsontos sooner.

I purchased a poorly made B-3 bomber style leather shearling on Amazon, and when it arrived I saw how low quality the jacket was, and decided I should visit an expert. Having lived in Mineola all my life, Tsontos Furs was first in mind for advice. I had never purchased a fur coat before, and was a little hesitant, but owner Bill Greene and his team at Tsontos Furs made me feel so comfortable and confidant throughout the entire process. Bill didn’t have the bomber style shearling I had in mind in-stock, but gladly ordered the jacket from his supplier for me to try on, touch and see with my own eyes. He also showed me a collection of swatches for me to choose which color fur I would prefer. Upon immediately falling in love with the jacket, Bill took my measurements, and we planned the alterations for a custom-made B-3 bomber style leather shearling. Very glad I decided to visit Tsontos Furs considering, I have never owned a fur before, let alone a custom-made jacket entirely fitted to me. Bill also added for me a larger fur lapel to the jacket, as this was a desire of mine, and he was happy to oblige. I had such a pleasant experience at Tsontos Furs, that I ended up purchasing two shearling jackets that day. Absolutely love my two coats; from the butter soft lamb skin leather to the warm yet light shearling fur. Will definitely recommend Tsontos Furs to family and friends for years to come for the highest quality, yet affordable, custom-made coats. When you shop at Tsontos Furs you are dealing with some of the most passionate furriers in New York who just want to see you happy in your new coat.

Didn't expect much, but their serviceman was as incredibly polite and professional. When we came back a few short weeks later with a friend, the serviceman remembered me by name and was incredible.
