TOOK OUR GRANDSON FOR A WALK DURING COVID LAST SPRING, WAS A VERY PEACEFUL BAY OF WATER TO ENJOY, AND HE WAS FASCINATED BY THE BEAUTIFUL DUCKS, IN AND OUT OF THE WATER, AND BY THE PARK ITSELF. WAS A VERY QUIET DAY.
It rather cool weather now in the mid-fall season, the small park is an idea place for reading or taking a short stroll. Several benches are in the area, no picnic tables. It is also a shorter-stay park with limited time parking along Shore Road.
Well maintained and mostly shaded playground made for a great place for our kids to goof around on a hot summer day. Was eerily quiet there considering the great weather, as we only ran into 2 other families in the entire park. Bathrooms were very clean, and trails are well kept. Stream a little murky and some sidewalks around the park were uneven due to tree roots, so expect a bumpy ride if you are navigating the perimeter of the park. Will try out Kings Point Park next week and see which is better.
Peaceful surroundings. The geese cooperated and ducks played in the water.
Nice park with public restroom, ball fields, stream and bridge, paths and benches. The only downside are the Canada geese which run all over messing up the grass!
