I’ve never been happier to write a good review. We renovated our 3 bedroom apartment with Hakka, including installing hardwood floors, moving walls around, redoing the kitchen, moldings, paint, etc. we were expecting the living nightmare that one expects when doing serious renovation, like delays, mistakes, double charges, and more. NONE of that happened. Unlike everyone else we know who went through renovations, ours was done on time, on budget, and the work is simply superb. Every question and issue were addressed immediately, and dealing with them was just wonderful, no less. not at all what we expected from a construction company. This is a family run business, and it’s a unique one at that. Michael, Dan and Jenny are wonderful people, and this is really not an exaggeration.nThey certainly are not cheap, but their work is excellent and their word actually means something. We count ourselves very lucky for having used them. HIGHLY recommended!

Extremely Happy! Hakka Contracting recently completed a renovation on our co-op in Queens and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We still wake up and can’t believe it’s our apartment. Our kitchen went from just a place to quickly make food to our favorite space in the apartment and where we spend the most time. Our new oak herringbone floors were done with such precision we still continue to stare at it when we come home. The frontman of the operation Dan Cheung is a gentleman and is very patient with the inevitable “while you’re at it” syndrome. He was a pleasure to work with from day 1, and he and his crew always made us feel comfortable with the progression of the project. I would highly recommend anyone thinking of a renovation to give them a call. Thanks Hakka!

Hakka Contractors was recommended to me by a coworker. I liked them so much, I hired them twice. First time was for a kitchen renovation in my co-op building and the other time was for my parent's home. Both projects were completed ahead of schedule and without any complications. The quotes were fair, the workers were professional and their work exceeded my expectations. Honest, trustworthy and great value for the money. I plan on hiring them again. They are the best contractors I've ever met.
