My wife and I took Bronze level 1 lessons there so I would not look like a complete fool for our wedding. But then COVID19 happened... yet they made it work. They worked hard to find solutions so we could take private dancing lesson safely.nnIt was my first dancing experience and I really wasn’t sure if I was going to like it or not. Ed and later David really were great teachers, very dedicated, passionated and patient. They made every lesson fun and enjoyable. I learned a great deal in a short amount of time, and now I really enjoy dancing. They are very serious and will teach you great foundation to dance pretty much anything you like. They pay attention to details and they make sure that when you get out of there studio, you’ll dance properly. They help you do it right and feel confident, which was especially important for me as I am supposed to lead.nnAs a beginner, I highly recommend their dance studio. Go for the private lessons and as many group classes as possible. You won’t regret it.

Karen and I have been having lessons at Arthur Murray for several years now. They have all levels of dancers from beginners to competitors. Neither of us are aiming to compete like the ballroom dancers you see on TV. We both just like to be able to dance socially if we go out for the evening. All the teachers at AM are awesome, they take the time to understand your goals and adjust accordingly. No matter how stressful the week we always end our lesson feeling relaxed and refreshed. Highly recommend if you've ever thought you'd like to learn how to dance.

I bought my wife, Jan, a 4 introductory lesson pack about 15 years ago, and we have enjoyed dancing at Arthur Murray ever since. I have honestly two left feet, and no sense of rhythm but its still fun.nnThe owners are very professional, and accomplished dancers, and place a focus on teaching, and inclusion for everyone from beginners to experts.nnThe value for money is excellent, the instructors, and other students always make everyone feel welcome. Over the years we have made some of dearest friends while dancing at this studio.nnBy the way 15 years later Jan is an accomplished silver and gold competitive dancer. Goes to show there is something for everyone here.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Rochester is one of the best places I could have happened upon. I have wanted to take ballroom lessons for a long time and found their information online. Learning from knowledgeable instructors helped me to fulfill a lifelong dream/goal of competing in ballroom dancing. Every staff member including instructors, owners and receptionist are friendly and inviting. They are truly my dance family!
