Long story short: I wish I would have never joined this gym, it’s a massive waste of money since they are stealing it from you. If you want further explanation, I invite you please keep reading.nnLet me start by saying burn boot camp is a great workout camp. One of the the better ones in Rochester, which is why I joined after trying out 6 other workout camps.nnBut due to recent circumstances, it allows the management’s true colors to show and why I will not be returning. The gym will NOT pause memberships due to a NATIONAL EMERGENCY. Instead, they are offering at-home workouts, which are at best 1/6th of the value (many members will agree). I understand not administering refunds, as people do have to run a business, but offering an extremely watered down product for the same price and not freezing memberships makes you wonder the integrity of this business.

Terrible company/location. Be careful, signing up means you're in a contract with them. They use typical bullying tactics when you try to cancel your membership. During COVID-19 they would not let any members get out of memberships when they either lost employment or didn't find low quality Zoom workouts to be worth the full price. Members without equipment at home rightfully didn't find online classes to be worth the $135 a month. They threatened $600+ in cancelation fees if you tried to cancel your membership. Be warned. Not to mention their workouts are not at all balanced, the trainers don't have proper education and there's a cult-like atmosphere. Your money is better spent on personal training or hell, even a Midtown membership.

Addicting - yes, the first few classes are intimidating but I became hooked after a week or two! I have no athletic background and have never consistently worked out but I now attend 5-6x a week & have been for the last 8 months! Take advantage of the two week free trial like I did before signing up!

Love this place... Great up beat energy. Trainers encourage you and work you hard. The work outs are varied and can be modified to your level. Love the floating floor and all the equipment is super new and clean. Free child care is awesome!
