Beautiful area, great views in multiple locations on both North and South trails. Trails are mostly easy, some may consider the ends moderate difficulty. Most of the elevation change is near the park enterence end of the trails if hiked in a loop.
We did the North and South Trail. It was a long hike. The views were so spectacular. The incline up the north trail was steep and just when you think you were finally at the top ... Think again. It just kept going higher and higher. Could hear the roaring water way down below. Wish we were able to see it more clearly. Proud of us for getting through it without a lot of breaks (myself and 3 kids aged between 10 and 15)
Nice hiking spot great views, should be a lot prettier come fall and early spring.
Local gem. Plan at least three hours to hike the whole trail.
