Ok so we didn't make it too far i have a handicapped girl and a one year old but before it started getting too rough we still saw plenty of fossils the shell kind and the trail was marked great with blue so no getting lost oh and lots of wildlife we saw deer and squirrels and birds etc

This is a more challenging and longer hike than others in this state park. The paths are narrow single track, with some steeper drops to one side in parts. The full loop is 4.5 miles, but there are connectors and the road that allow shortcuts. The old Stone Overlook is one of the highlights of the hike, which, according to the state park service, is the highest point in Carroll County.
