Southwoods

I had the privilege of working for Scott and Andrea and Southwoods for 3 summers of my life. They were by far the most amazing and challenging I have ever had. These people truly care about your children and strive to give them the best experience they possibly can! I was very sad to hear they will be closed for the summer.

Looks like a nice place, but I can hear them from across the lake from my aunts cabin in the summer.

Hands down Southwoods is one of the best summer camp experiences you could choose for your child. As an employee for four summers and one year working as their Staffing Coordinator and Program Director it is easy to say that Scott and Andrea care about every aspect of this summer experience. From the exciting programming and special events to the hiring and training of exceptional counselors every detail aims to provide a safe and caring environment for every camper. It is truly a place where children can learn, grow and try new things without pressure or expectation. They succeed at creating an amazing home away from home.

Southwoods has been an incredible place for my son to grow, mature, feel good about himself, make friends and have fun!!!! It is a place where each child is known, understood, accepted and celebrated! It amazes me that in a 3 1/2 week summer Scott, Andrea and their Southwoods team are able to provide their campers with a complete experience as if they were at a 7 week camp. I cannot recommend Southwoods more highly and am thankful everyday that my son found a summer home with his Southwoods family!
