This was a gorgeous hike. It gets pretty steep the closer you get to the falls. My kids loved it and it was one heck of a view. Stunning rock formations line either side of the canyon as you hike up. Next time I come back I'm going to try and hike past the waterfall and further into the canyon, but we were too tired to continue any higher. It was well worth the walk up though.

Great hike, but a bit rundown. Lack of maintenance.

Great place to take a break. The pavilion is great for a party, but the hike to the waterfall is pretty steep and I would caution taking little kids up above the falls as it is quite slick and there is no restraint to the cliff edge. I also recommend going up in the early evening. The sunset is marvelous.

Easy hike to the 0.5 miles great waterfall. After that trail is awesome. We hiked for around 9 miles(up & down) from the waterfall. Great view of Great Salt Lake when you go up the mountain. Need proper hiking shoes.

Great trail for all. For families, the first half mile to the waterfall and back is a great hike. If your a more experienced hiker, you can continue on the trail up for another mile and a half after the falls. It gets really steep for the last half mile or so. Bring a snack, will take 2-3 hours from the start probably. View is amazing at the top, base of Timpanogos and 3000 ft from Utah Valley. The elevation at the end is over 7000 feet, drink some water. Trail is mostly shaded.
