A slice of heaven. Good place to meditate and relax.nNote- the only bathroom is a porta potty in the entrance.

You cant but love being in this out of the way piece of heaven. The gardens and rolling hills with remnants of old estate terraces complemented by lake shore plantings and flora. Shaded trails and old cypress. Enjoyable for all with special reserved times for seniors although there were young people there. $5.00 per senior, well worth it.

It’s OK. I’ve seen many gardens and this is more like a small garden in a forest. Bulk of what you’ll see is more akin to hiking than really enjoying the garden. Only the CORE area has some waterfalls and various iterations of fountains. But the lake itself looks very unkept and dirty.nnIt’s a cool spot. Don’t get me wrong. But it’s not worth paying fees to see it. Also, strollers will NOT go in here. So if you have a kid that cannot/refuses to walk- DON’T GO! Also, for seniors who cannot walk for long, there’s no point. There are so many parks and natural areas in NYS that allow you to appreciate nature’s beauty- Free! Both pain and $ wise! Central Park in NYC is definitely much better than this.nnUnlike some others I didn’t experience any staff rudeness. I think they were pretty friendly.nnToilets- It’s a Porta Johnny! Cannot use in the COVID Environment or otherwise!

Just ok - was not much to see when I visited in September 2020. Seemed more like a pretty open space than a garden.

Gorgeous lesser known park. It is so picturesque and so many spots for amazing photos. There are lawn chairs throughout where you can chill and enjoy the nature. There is a main path and small rock paths you can explore. Only complaint we had was the sign doesn't say not handicap accessible like some paths are okay but the rocks make it very difficult for a wheelchair and the other side is just not accessible. However the staff was so apologetic and accommodating. Btw they sell really lovely plants too
