I think about that fried chicken sandwich a lot. Lovely place. Lovely people.
Great place to grab a quick bite. I live down the road from the Russet and I have never had a bad meal. The owners are a young couple who are super nice and personable. You can tell that they have a vested interest in not just feeding you well, but providing a home cooked kind of atmosphere. The menu is the perfect size, being concise without making you feel like you are missing anything. It does a good job of walking the line by having something for everyone without the frills that can take a ton of time or inventory to keep up with. They have a couple things on draft as well as wine and cider. I am really fond of stopping on by and having a beer and a burger and chatting with Craig and Jenny, or sitting on the porch and watching the world turn. I would highly recommend that anybody in the area stop on by!

I frequently deliver there and I have to admit they are greatly friendly people! Someday I can't wait to trouble them for a baconn& egg sandwich! I bet you they taste fantastic because I'm the one that delivers the eggs! (I also pick up their eggs from the farm where they get them from!)
