We had a wonderful experience there. Owner's and staff couldn't have been nicer. Beautiful views and very clean

I go there to use the dump station, which is tricky to get to if you're not leaving the camp. They don't have me just drive through the camp, which is good for the campers and keeps traffic down.nThe camp is on a rural hillside with woods on the lower slope and surrounded by farmland.

We're glad we stubbled upon this gem of a campground. The hard working on-site owners run a tight ship and make you feel welcome as soon as you meet them. If you're looking for a quiet, no nonsense place to stay with a beautiful park like setting, this is it. They serve food, a limited menu, from their camp store that they will deliver to your site on request. No golf carts, toy scooters or any other means of motorized noise and dust producing mayhem here. Just nice folks walking or pedaling their bikes around. There's a nice four plus acre pond that anchors the park. You can rent a paddle boat or kayaks. They have catch and release fishing also. The park is nestled on over 84 acres of hilly treed and grassy land and has hiking trails throughout. If you're looking to party to all hours or have a campground that is kid centric, this not it. There's quite a lot of well kept seasonal sites here too. It seems the W/E/S (no cable, but have wifi at additional cost. We didn't get this so can't say how good it is) transient sites seem to be grouped together. Big rig friendly. My truck and trailer measures about 49 feet and had no problem fitting together on site. They will escort you to your site and make sure that you're set up properly. A mostly level (you'll need to do some leveling, but that's part of RV camping) gravel pad, surrounded by grassy site with a picnic table and stationary fire ring. You can buy a generous amount of firewood from them and have it delivered. We've put Country Hills Campground on our short list and will definitely be back.
