Well maintained park. Gazebo is nice and clean enough for being outside. The monument is very majestic and new interpretive panel a nice addition. The stairs down to the lake are in extreme disrepair and need work.
Loved being there on this spring day
The Samuel Champlain Monument Park is well managed and groomed. This is a great place to go for a view of the Saranac River flowing toward the Lake Champlain.
A strong reminder of an explorer who established a foothold here
