1/5/21 - Ordered the 1 Meat Plate with 2 sides. The chicken was tender, moist and flavorful, even without any sauce. The salad was comprised of crunchy fresh greens and what appeared to be homemade seasoned croutons. The turkey was a bit overly seasoned, as if it sat in a salt brine for a little too long, but wasn't all That dry. Unfortunately the breaded and fried okra was under cooked. However, the creamed spinach was very good. Warm, velvety, creamy mix of aswego cheese and cooked spinach, YUM.nn1/7/21 - Ordered the 1 Meat Plate with 2 sides. Found the brisket to be Extremely salty and overcooked. The salad greens were starting to turn brown and the croutons were stale. However, the staff was very friendly and the facility appeared to be very clean and organized.
I used to go here weekly, not anymore. The last few times I've ordered online my order has been wrong or the meat has been almost inedible. I don't give up easily, I ordered the Monday pulled pork sandwich special today. Granted it was 7pm, but the pulled pork was extremely dry and was cold. The pickles and onions that used to be free are now $.50 each. So no pickles, I had to have onion so paid the extra $.50. $.50 for one small ring, not slice, just one small onion ring. We need another BBQ place in Plattsburgh please.
Best barbecue for the buck. Always friendly staff and the food is great. Better than the other change for barbecue and brisket.
Great food, but the ice cream machine wasn't running long enough to freeze the cream, so it was watery!
The food is delicious it's the price/amount you receive ratio that I am not a fan of. I eat like a bird and still want more sometimes when I am done when we order here
