Great experience from day 1 when we booked the trip. They owners were so helpful and informative We hit the field with our Handler Mark he was top notch worked his tail off to make sure it was done right. His dogs were so well trained He made the trip so enjoyable Birds were all cleaned and packaged perfectly. The group of us all left very pleased and looking forward to another trip.
If you like to hunt but can't afford 3000+ acres of land and don't have the time to plant fields of crops, or set up hundreds of deer stands, this is the place. Seriously, we would all be hard pressed to create the habitat that has been developed over the past 40 years by this team. Bring your gear and your willingness to be a good hunter and they will take care of the rest. Great food, great lodging and a team of great people that will treat you like family. Truly an adventure to look forward to.
Turkey hunting was horrible, the properties owned and leased are over used, with not much animal activity at all. After seeing how dead the land was I decided to do a pheasant hunt so I could put some meat in the freezer. They put out 10 birds and the dog only flushed 6. All in, it was a horrible trip. I would advise taking your $ elsewhere.
Our guide David was so lovely and informative. Being a complete novice he really took the time to walk my fiancé and I through the entire sport, including but not only focused on safety information. The farm is absolutely stunning and the owners are so lovely we couldn’t have asked for a better day! We will definitely be back soon.
This is my second hunt at Stuyvesant Outdoor Adventures and must say without a doubt it is one of the best places I've been to for Hunting. The guides were knowledgeable and were so helpful. Jodie and Lana, the owners that run the lodge were a pleasure to deal with and very flexible and courteous to ALL! Coming here is like spending time with family, and so much quality time is spent with other hunters. This is a great family lodge where the food is Great, the rooms and the whole complex is clean and a nice place to be. During our time here several hunters were able to take home a nice deer for a nice meal. Can't wait to come back next season!! Jose Benitez
