Monro Auto Service And Tire Centers

I've been to every auto mechanic shop in Plattsburgh and they all have pros and cons. The only con about this company is the long lines because they're so good. I always get what I pay for. They always honor my appointment timely. Impeccable work. They always tell me what's wrong and what it will take to repair before they do the extra work or charge me. Great customer service and their prices are so low that it would cost you more money to do regular maintenance yourself.

We are long time customers of Monro, and have never been disappointed. We truly appreciate the manager Chris, he is a genuine person once you show your commitment to being a Monro Customer. From the first year we moved to this area to now, we go to Monro for their timely and reasonablely priced service.

Great service I got my brakes done, the work was done fast!

Went to get my car inspected the person on the phone when I scheduled it said Tuesday I showed up on Tuesday and was told it was for that Monday before. I had to get an inspection that was passed due. They failed my inspection because of 3 bald tires even though they still have plenty of tread on them to pass and I told him prior that I had an appointment to get new tires that Friday and that was the only thing I didn't pass for was the tires. They peeled my sticker off and didn't even bother mentioning a temporary sticker.

When previous manager / owner Stephen Bassett left, so did the customer service. I had used this shop exclusively for exhaust work over the last two decades. They used to be respectful, get you in and out quickly and the prices were very fair. The current management, without a doubt, makes you feel like you're a burden. Their motives and focus are centered around what is convenient and highly lucrative for the shop. No exceptions.
