Plattsburgh RV Park

Beautiful area, nice property, wide RV spots with full hook ups. Management writes back right away and the price is reasonable. The pool is big and clean with a lot of seating areas. 4 washers and dryers in the laundry area. The only thing that could be better was the cleanliness of the bathrooms/showers.

Nice clean place. Close to everything you need. Wonderful heated pool. Spent the summer of 2020 there and will hopefully return for 2021. DON,T make the mistake of going to Shady Oaks.

Pictures posted show a very nice park and around the main building this was true, however...I don't think the grass had been mowed in at least 2 weeks in most of the sites, which are grass sites. There were many campers that look to be permanent and some were very nice but many were very poorly maintained, with lots of junk piled around them. We were going to check out the ladies room in the building out in the middle of the campground but the top half of the door was covered with spiders and webs. Most important to us was they advertised that the city beach was walking distance so I assumed that there would be a path, not so. Going up and around the road it was 2 miles, more than the casual walker would consider close. It was extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this campground to anyone.

I stayed at this RV park for a month while relocating to Plattsburgh to house hunt. We had a larger cabin and really enjoyed our time. I have two small children and they loved the playground and pool that was on site. We also took walks that we enjoyed. Really friendly staff and peaceful surroundings. The only downside was the slow WiFi.
