I was sad to see it closed because of covid. I hope to be able to go on the tour some day. You can still park out front and look at the houses.

This attraction, which is right off the road a short drive form downtown Auburn is made up of a Visitors Center and two houses. One house, once a refuge for the elderly, can be visited as part of the guided tour. The other, Harriet Tubman's home, is currently being renovated.nnThe Visitors Center is just steps from the parking lot. Make it your first stop to pay for the guided tour and get practical info for your visit. If you can, I suggest calling ahead to ask for tour times, so you can plan your visit accordingly. There were a couple of people who showed up during our visit but missed the last tour of the day.nnWhile waiting for the tour to start, you can check the exhibitions on the courageous and no-nonsense Ms. Tubman and learn about the extraordinary life she lived and the struggles she faced. How she managed to live to 90, despite all the challenges life threw at her, just makes her all the more remarkable! You will leave with such a tremendous admiration for her.nnThe tour leaders, a very lively and friendly couple, did an excellent job of telling the story of Tubman's life in colorful detail. The house currently open to tour is small but worth a visit. Parking is plentiful.

Very informative, historical and sentimental this place was great. At presents the hospital part of the tour is closed down for renovations but the saucer is a cheaper admission price of five bucks for adults $3 for seniors and college students and $2 for children I think it's probably double that when the fault or is open beautiful restorations and we had a particularly informative and eloquent tour guide. I highly recommend it.

It was enjoyable ud83dude0a & Park Ranger Jessica Bowes is amazing! She's vibrant, knowledgeable, passionate about Harriet Tubman & her life & her history. I felt connected to Harriet Tubman even more & I'm a little disappointed at the tour I thought it would be a tad bit longer but I know where I'm going now so I can visit anytime I want. This was needed & it was a good day & trip. I highly recommend it for everyone especially us African-Americans. It's rich to know more about your culture because it unlocked your future.
