Fillmore Glen State Park

Just wasn't for me...

The Gorge Trail was closed but the North Rim Trail had great views with the leaves off the trees. Relatively steep trails but there were plenty of stairs to help with the uphills. The trail was well maintained. We want to go back to hike the Gorge Trail when it re-opens.

Very nice views. Nice trails very good snowmobileing.

My wife and I were married here in 2008 on the bridge by the swimming area. It remains lovely and well kept. The park staff do a great job taking care of the land and trees. There are a couple walking trails that are well maintained and a section for camping. Its a great touch of nature in our state and our family loves it.

Absolutely loved this place. Some sites are small so if you need more space call ahead and ask for advice. They have great bathrooms with showers and even changing tables. Also had little dishwashing room too. Nice newer playground. A swimming hole open when water conditions allow. So much green space for playing and picnics. Nice replica cabin of President Fillmore birth place to show the kids so they get an idea of what a house really used to be like. Hiking trails. Decent sized cabins and close enough to Ithaca. Gorge trail closed due to trail erosion but still there is a waterfall not too far away on a trail to see.
