Cafe Amici

This is a very humble looking pizzeria where wonderful Brooklyn style thin crust pizza masterpieces are made. The pizza crust here is the best one I have ever had in NJ; it is thin, crispy, and delicious. Slices are giant Boardwalk style, cut from a 22 inch pizza.nnThe new owner has remodelled the interior and offers the same menu as the previous owner. Cafe Amici is a place to go for truly outstanding pizza and a very friendly and welcoming owner and staff.

We ordered and waited outside for our own safety. Because someone else was irate there's a policy to not have only a small amount of customers at a time. People didn't seem to mind the wait which peeked my interest and that is how we was introduced. Best thing that happened to me.

This was my 1st visit. Good customer service but if you are looking for an authentic Italian food, this is not a right place. Foods preparation was not Italian and had no taste. Vegetables in salad were not fresh/stale. Calamari had bad smell, Chicken Piccata was like bowl of Chicken Soup. Pasta preparation was tangy...etc. Had to trash the food, a complete waste of the money!

I have been going to Amici's for quite some time now, and this is the first I have gone since the ownership has changed. I must say first of all that the service is excellent. They are friendly and courteous, and show a great deal of respect for their customers. Also the quality of the food is still great and I will definitely continue to go to Amici's in the future. Overall I would highly recommend them as a place to go for good food at a good price.
