Dave's Sweet Shop

I want candy!!! Just down the street from my town's high school and middle school, this no-frills shop received tons of foot traffic before the covid pandemic. During the rona, they remain open and sell candy, snacks, coffee, bottled drinks, lottery tickets, newspapers, and cigarettes. One time, their gummy bears were too hard/stale that they hurt to bite but all the other candy we bought was just fine. Their prices are fair and their service is friendly. I usually hit this spot with my kids right after we have a meal at Halo Roasters within the same plaza and we're able to bring home a huge stash of candy for about 20 bucks. Sweeeeet!!!nnNOTES/TIPS:n**Shared parking with plenty of spots available next to TD Pizza, right before the post office. Rear entrance available.n**They sell Big League Chew which is good for learning to blow large bubbles.
