Jersey Strong Gym

As a long time resident of Ocean County, I've been a member of quite a number of gyms, and for some reason Jersey Strong Freehold just has me coming back. To me there isn't a better gym around. The staff is excellent, the equipment and space just has that real gym feel. Also to those complaining about masks if you are so scared of the virus I would suggest you workout at home or stay home and don't ever come out of your house.

The absolute worst! Machines were constantly broken and the management is terrible. I froze my accounts because of COVID and they still charged me. Then they wouldn’t refund the fraudulent charges. I tried to cancel my accounts they wanted an extra months payment after holding me out past the cancellation deadline. There’s a mysterious “back office” that not even the staff can contact. You can only communicate through a not so well developed support ticket system. Even when you use that they don’t reply! You tell the gym staff and like robots the repeat the same 3 responses about submitting your support ticket, not even they can speak to the back office, and that’s just how the back office does it. Who is this back office? Do they even exist? Your guess is as good as mine. Also, somehow they were still charging my card though their system had an expired expiration date. If I have the extra time I may take it to small claims court because it’s just terrible business being done over there and I can prove my case thanks to their trusty support system. But long story short, go to any gym but this one!

Great staff and the place is soo clean

Waaaay to many people not wearing mask. Not enough staff walking the floor to check on people. Kids cluster together working out. Not cool during these times

The staff at the Freehold location are AMAZING! So extremely friendly. By far the best employee I have had contact with at this location is Freddy. He is extremely professional and always in high spirits. His personality is contagious and encourages me to come to the gym! Keep it up Freehold team! I couldn’t do it without the support I get from this location!
