Mine Street Music

Jeannine was awesome in helping me prepare for my Chorale's Carnegie Hall performance. For context, I was learning 8 pieces from John Rutter's recently published edited anthology of Sacred Choruses. We performed pieces by Bach, Brahms, Handel, Haydn, Schubert, & Mendelssohn. Jeannine's guidance was invaluable as she helped me refine my technique and work through some of the trickier vocal sections so I felt confident and ready to sing when the time came.

I had a NY resolution to learn to sing when I was in my twenties and I was lucky enough to find Jeannine! She makes learning music so much fun and I felt like a kid again. And now everyone is surprised when I sing karaoke ud83dude02I highly recommend her and she will make it fun for any age!

Absolutely, undoubtedly and definitely the best piano teacher I have ever encountered. My daughters have been seeing Jeannine for almost four years and they adore her. I’ve recommended her to friends many times simply because Jeannine isn’t just a piano teacher; she is a true musician who teaches her students how to love music. My younger daughter started composing her own music with Jeannine’s encouragement and help. Now she takes both piano and voice lessons with Jeannine and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We sincerely love her and you will, too!

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Jeannine for a few years now and it has been a wonderful experience! Jeannine works with my child to find pieces that she will enjoy playing and fosters her love of music. By finding perfect arrangements for my daughter's skill and style, she is learning solid technique and theory without even realizing it ; )nThe semi-annual recitals are a joy to experience! Jeannine prepares her students well and sets them up for success in a beautiful and non-stressful event. While my daughter does not take voice lessons, we are always so impressed with the students who do perform voice and piano together. Always a treat!

Jeannine is excellent. She is both an experienced and talented musician/artist herself and a great teacher. My daughter is very difficult to teach. I have taken her to a handful of teachers and music schools and nobody could work with my daughter as well as Jeannine has. She knows how to keep her engaged and interested. She knows how to get her to practice more than any other teacher has. Lastly, she makes sure my daughter is learning all aspects of music including theory, practice, technique, and performance. I highly recommend Jeannine. 5 stars, for sure!
