Home Away III Childs Care Center

I am a mother and a preschool teacher too . I want to share my experience at Home away daycare . First they are not professional at all . There is a woman call Tatiana that I am not sure what is her roll there, she thinks she can be very rude when she is talking to a parent and she also thinks she can do what ever she wants. She is not the Director but she takes decisions because she thinks she is the owner . I as a parent had many concerns about my sons behavior in the daycare , I asked more than three time to please talk to the teacher and she never tried to contact me . Finally one day she called me and we talked , she told me my son keeps taking his shoes out in class ,running in class and that was a problem that she count handled in class. I asked many times to watch cameras and they didn’t allowed me . Please this is a place where you can not trust them because they don’t care . As a school they don’t follow the state standards in this daycare and that’s why they won’t let you watch the cameras if something happens to your child .as a educator and as a mother I would not recommend this place to anyone . As a parent I really had a bad experience in this place because they are not professional . I have seen how bad they are with parents and many times with employee too . So if you are thinking this is a good place for your child you will have to think about it . Remember the director it’s never there and Tatiana thinks she can do whatever she wants because she is there . I am glad my son will go to a better place and will be in good hands too .

They did not allowed my daughter to have her therapy sessions (RED FLAG ) Every daycare allows kids to have therapy sessions in the same class room but this one doesn’t they dont want people to know what happens after parents leave , the teachers tried multiple times to take her out of the class saying she had lice when even her doctor gave us a clear note because she never found any , the teacher kept saying she had lice and when i asked for other kids to get checked out because my daughter must have gotten it there if she had it , Tatiana said that no other kid had it but her . also my mother came to the daycare multiple times by surprise and found my daughter locked away from other kids in a playpen , when she complained the teacher said she did that because my daughter can’t follow instructions. They always wanted the easy way out to everything and The teachers were lazy and never wanted my daughter to wear certain clothes because it was annoying for them to change the diapers and they were always short staffed. Honestly as a first time mom i had the worst experience with this daycare and i have never been able to put my daughter to another daycare because i fear they will do the same , she is currently being taken care of by a babysitter at home & her therapist have seen a great improvement in her behavior ever since i decided to take her out. The center is amazingly clean and organized however, I did not have a pleasant experience in the short time my child was enrolled in this facility.nnFrom the one month my child was enrolled, three incidents had occurred with my child being bitten by another within the time span of a week. We were grateful that they were nice enough to call us immediately to explain the situation at hand and how it was being handled.  On the other hand, the child which bit mine multiple times is still in the daycare. Secondly, we were asked to remove my child from the facility due to “disruptive behavior.” First, neither her teacher nor the facility owner had previously reached out myself nor my husband warning us about the behavior my child was exhibiting while under their care. When asked as to why my child is being expelled with no warnings versus the bitter who is still in the daycare (which the parents had received a minimum of three warnings), they explained that their child has a “speech therapy issue.” It is clear that the rules on the warning system stated in their contract are not applied to every child. The teacher only interacted with us once and never mentioned anything about my child behavior. Aides spoke to us more about my child rather than the teacher which made us question how much attention did she give the students. Overall, I am grateful that my child no longer attends this daycare. For it has saved us not only our time and money, but the constant aggravation and stress that we recently endured. I employ you to do the same.

We don't know where to start in terms of how happy we are with the loving care and education our daughter is receiving. Home Away III Daycare is a family away from home for my 18 month old. The teachers are excellent! They are great leaders who are warm and loving, but firm when necessary. They do a great job with paying attention to details. The facility is brand new and very clean.

I highly recommend Home Away III Day Care Center. My son had the most beautiful experience. He started when he was 1 1/2 years old. Ms. Patty and Ms. Maritza are the best. Also Ms. Tatiana always very professional. My son is 5 now going to kindergarten sad that he is living the center, but happy that he has learned so much and made wonderful friends thanks to the care of this extraordinary center!!!
