St. Augustine is an excellent school. They offer a loving and inclusive environment. Every child is welcomed with his/her strengths and weaknesses. Some of the faculty members have been there for decades and are a hallmark in the school. They share the schools values, commitment to the community and to the students. They tailor every lesson to each child's individual needs and work with the parents for the benefit of the child. They are always open to suggestions and are constantly improving the classrooms and providing state-of the art technologies for learning. They are excellent, my children couldn't have succeeded without them.

The school has an outdated curriculum. The books are missing pages. They only teach Spanish when 90% of the students are Spanish. The teachers lack enthusiasm and are not involved and follow a basic routine.’The administration is rude, unprofessional and unhelpful. There are no sports, no cheerleaders, no involvement wit the girls/ boys scouts. There are no programs to keep the kids engaged. They have gym once a week without a coach. Your children will not be up to par at the the county, state or national level because they are not teaching to keep up with today’s demands. The Archdiocese should be ashamed to let this school go from being a very good school to the dungeon it is today. Oh, and the 5 star reviews are from the staff.

The school is just absolutely horrible and I haven’t been here for longer than 2 Year’s. The food is horrible, the school takes away the time we should be learning and then try’s to make more people come to the school by doing these pointless dances and celebrations when me and everyone else don’t even learn. The school doesn’t make any good food from what my friends tell me it’s either cold or outdated. The only drink they serve is chocolate milk and it’s not even good. At least give water to the children. This school is just horrible overall

St. Augustine School is wonderful. My daughter has been attending since kindergarten and is now in the 8th grade. The school has small classrooms which allows students to be more interactive with their instructors. The administration treats the students with care, respect and warmth. The school also is keeping up with the technological developments along with the public schools. At the 8th grade level, my daughter has her own school laptop and is taking two online courses which is definitely a huge plus as she gets ready for HS. It is a great feeling when the principle knows each of the students name and treats them like family. They have strict rules and guidelines that goes with the a Catholic School environment, hence, there is a no nonsense attitude for those students who are rebellious and don't want to comply with classroom rules. The school lacks many of the sports that public schools may have but they make it up with after school programs, loving environment, great teachers and caring administrators. Great school, and hoping it remains strong for may years to come!
