Equinox Hudson Yards

Love this location - lots of natural light and amenities. That being said, the gym floor is a bit small compared to other locations and it’s a popular gym, so avoid going at peak hours, when it can be very hard to socially distance or find available equipment.

This place charges almost 20 times the price of one Blink location. Is the equipment 20 times better than Blink? Absolutely not, the equipment is just slightly better than Blinks equipment. Also this place has alot of uneven ground on the gym floor. So be careful lifting up 45 pound plates from their rack because you can easily get injured bending down on uneven ground. Luckily I only take weights from the most even ground I can find in the gym. They own Blink, Blink cost $15 per month for one location. This place is not worth almost 20 times ($255 per month and climbing) the price of one blink location. They do have a huge staff here, so I'm sure alot of the money goes to paying that huge staff. I wouldn't pay $255 or more per month for this place again.

Stayed here in the hotel. It's not bad, being pretty new and all. I liked the fact that it is so close to the 7 train, easy to get to from LGA. There are plenty of restaurants around the mall so you don't have to rely on the hotel restaurant which is to healthy for my tastes.nnThe room was great, the bed situation is unique. They really don't have sheets. Instead they have a folded, uh. duvet cover or something... on a king bed they have two with the folded sides facing each other. Hmmm, how is this supposd to be romantic when I'm sleeping next to my wife and we can't even touch each other? Very odd.. Anyway, they focus on how cold the rooms can be, so if you or your spouse loves (and by loves I mean requires) a cold room to sleep in, then this can meet their need in that regard.nnOf course you will get access to the health club, which is fantastic as you can imagine.nnThis place is very sexy and oriented to youth. I'm 50. They may not want my kind here, which is OK. I might be back.
