Silver Lake Park

Always a lovely scene. Not much in the way of facilities. Lake is always beautiful- crystal clear. Ideal place for a jog, or walking the dog. Access road through the park is closed creating more space for people. Smart kids know where the hole in the fence is to go sledding on the golf course in the winter.

A great place to walk/jog or just sit and people watch. Dog walkers really enjoy this park with dog run. Silver lake is not really a lake. In early 20th century it served as a reservoir for NYC. You can walk across the reservoir via a concrete walkway dividing it into 2 sections.

If you are around and If you haven't been to there, I would say you are missing out a chance to see some nice park. If the weather is nice and if its late spring you will love it there. If not you will like it... If you don't like it you might have a problem with nature :) joke aside, visit and have a walk around the lake if you can...
