Choc O Pain French Bakery and Café

This is the only coffee place in Hoboken that are sticklers about not letting dogs come in, even if you’re just picking up. I have a small dog I was holding and they still make me leave.nnTheir iced coffee tastes like stale coffee grounds.

Average at best, fine for when you’re really craving a croissant. It’s French style but French train stations have better croissants..staff could be friendlier too

I was charged more for my drink than what the menu stated (and I didn't get any customizations either, so I don't see why this should have happened). I love getting fresh croissants because they taste incomparable to any croissant you'd get from a grocery store—but the croissant I had here tasted like a grocery store croissant. Not very fresh tasting. Nothing here was explicitly bad, but it just wasn't good.

First discovered them at the Saturday farmer's market. They offer a wide selection of sweet and savory baked goods--notably, croissants (plain, almond, chocolate, and, best of all, chocolate almond) and kouign amman (plain or filled). The cafe has limited seating, coffee drinks, and free wifi. They also have sandwiches that look great for a picnic, although I've never tried them, and a small selection of gourmet candies, snacks, and preserves.
