Crunch Fitness - Staten Island

You get what you pay for I suppose.. gym isn’t bad and it’s Convenient for me., but in a time of covid you would think there would be better enforcement to wear masks the proper way (over your nose). There’s no cleaning crew I have seen to wipe and Sanitize machines regularly, machines are a little dirty and worn out but that doesn’t bother me. I have been to other gyms where If you were to pull your mask down over your nose for a second they are on top of you to pull it up which is good in my opinion, not to mention a staff that is strictly for disinfecting routinely. (Meaning every 1/2hr to an hr someone is walking wiping and cleaning machines) However if this doesn’t bother you this gym is pretty good and serves it’s purpose.

A really nice place to work out. Instructors are fun and can identify proper techniques. I gave 4 stars because I would like to see the instructed classes go from 1/2 hour to 45 or 60 minutes. Sometimes the classes feel rushed due to time constraints.

I was very disappointed visiting this gym. I took a 3 day pass to test the gym was thinking of switching gym and didn’t even bother returning with the lack of communication and poor behavior given from the front desk and manager on duty at 6am. I did not see a cleaning staff on duty either. The manager told my aunt she had to switch in order to use the gym and didn’t bother explaining to her the difference of her membership, and let me say how she did not even greet and just came off rude. We where not offered a tour but seen someone later receive a tour as we where working out and trying to figure where everything was. As someone whom works with customers and in management , I would suggest for better structure especially since this is a new location the one located on Bay Street has a welcoming staff and environment as well it’s very sanitized.

The workers are very friendly and they create a very safe and customer friendly environment they are good at there job!!! Thank you crunch gym!!!

There is no mask enforcement and that scares me.
