Quiet and filled with ducks the day I went. It was the solitude I needed to ground my mind.
The fishing is excellent but there is often debris in the water that has been thrown in the water. Have seen fox, muskrat, hawks, deer, herons, kingfishers and plover. So good for birding. Definitely good to kayak.
Beautiful preserved freshwater wetland. Only giving 4 stars because of the lack of sound barriers along I-80, lack of parking, and unmarked trailhead
My grandsons christening was held here. Plenty of parking and easy access. Church is well kept. Pictures were allowed inside and grounds are very nice for outdoor pictures.
Beautiful place we all need to enjoy mother nature.
