I am not one to write reviews and this is my first bad review ever. Owner Jess is extremely unprofessional. I booked her for my wedding and she never got back to me when I had personal questions for her. I sent her many texts and she barely ever answered. A hairstylist plays a huge part on the wedding day. There was a lack of communication on her part. I called the salon a few times and never got a call back. Her assistant got back to me via email however I needed to speak to Jess about personal questions regarding my wedding day and ideas about hair styles and coloring my hair. This was something her assistant could not answer. I would think building a relationship with your vendors is extremely important and getting to know them. She claims she doesn’t text and that’s why she has an assistant, so she couldn’t kindly respond back to me and let me know. Also, I asked for my deposit back because of her unprofessionalism and I simply did not feel comfortable with her doing my hair on my special day. There was no connection with her and all my other vendors responded back to me and I built amazing relationships. One of her excuses was she’s very busy, well so am I, and so is everyone else. Also, I recently had an unexpected death in my family and money is really not good right now. I told her about the passing of my beloved step father. I could not proceed with my wedding. I did not get my deposit back. Oh and she blocked me! I would never recommend Jess ever!

What an amazing job!! Jess and her team were absolutely amazing on my wedding day. She did my hair and Nabil did my makeup. They did an incredible job not only on me, but my entire wedding party. They truly took their time on every single person. Everyone looked SOO beautiful and everyone was soo pleased with their hair/makeup! Not only do they do an incredible job, but they are all sweet and easy to work with. If you are looking to book them for your wedding you should not look any further - I 100% recommend ! I hope to use them again for something in the future! Thank you guys!!

I am over the moon about my hair and makeup experience with Jess and her team at BeYOUtiful Bride, located in Cedar Grove, NJ. First, Jess is so kind and sweet, which made me feel so comfortable and confident in my decision to use BeYOUtiful Bride for my wedding day. About 3 months before my wedding day on July 18, I had my hair and makeup trial and was so happy with the results. My makeup was flawless and my makeup artist, Brunella, was knowledgeable and skilled in makeup application, tools, and products. She gave me some really helpful tips leading up to my wedding to get my skin healthy and glowing—I’m so glad I listened to her! Jess did my hair and it was exactly how I imagined it. I showed her some photos and trusted her vision, and wow! My hair was not only beautiful, but it stayed all day and night, going on nearly 12 hours. I loved the option Jess gives brides to get a mini makeup and hair touch up kit; I used both throughout the day. Jess and her team not only made me feel gorgeous, but they also went above and beyond to make my bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law feel stunning too. Their hair and makeup was flawless as well! I highly recommend Jess and her team at BeYOUtiful Bride for your wedding day hair and makeup!
