Joseph B. Clarke Trail Head

Nice smooth surface. The return trip has a nice gentle downhill grade.

The trail head begins behind the Blauvelt Free Public Library off of Western Highway in Blauvelt . It finishes on Oak Tree Lane in front of the Tappan Sushi and Sashimi restaurant in Tappan. It is about 7.82 miles down and back .

I was specifically looking for the start of this bike road. The great bike way, but short

This is a paved 4-mile trail that is mostly flat but has a slight grade in places. Great for walking/running, cycling, strollers, and dogs. There are dog bags available at a few spots along the trail. There are benches along the northern half of the trail, but not on the southern half.

Great walking distance, moderate pace
