My friend and I ordered a Mocha and Cafe au Lait. Both were watery and the coffee tasted old. I loved coming to here and the Portsmouth location 10 years ago for great coffee. Since then, the Portsmouth location is gone and this location appears to have lessened in quality.
Good atmosphere and good coffee. Mask compliance isn't looking too great lately and I worry about vectors of exposure when staff prepare orders, move about the bar, and interact with staff and customers without masks. I look forward to patronizing BnG again after the pandemic.
Definitely a Durham staple. I love going here. The blended coffees are my favorite, and they make great pastries/cookies. Plus they roast their own coffee so my family always gets our coffee beans from here.
They roast their own beans and actually do it well. Their espresso roast is the rare one that isn't burnt. The employees actually make a good cappuccino. This place is what most small coffee shops want to be.
Best coffee ever! Staff is always friendly.
