It is beautiful no matter what time of day you see it
We love coming here. It's so beautiful and peaceful. The walk out when the gates are down is nice. The whole area is fun. Water is cold as all get out, but the views are amazing. Especially when you see the seals!
Great place for viewing the sea and the whale back light house. If you plan on visiting around sunset be advised the the vehicle gate closes about 30 minutes prior and they will ask all cars to leave just after sunset. You can park just outside of the gate and enjoy the nice walk to the pier which takes about 8 minutes.
A bucket list experience
Excellent spot for views and pictures of Whaleback Light.
