Run, don’t walk, to Toscana in Portsmouth. Such an amazing team and delicious food. We attended a private event there last night and it was phenomenal. Neil, Joe, and their team are the best! Our servers Emily and Sierra went above and beyond. They have this private room that is the perfect size. It is a great addition to downtown Portsmouth.nnThank you Toscana Italian Chophouse & Wine Bar for a night we will always remember and cherish!

Atmosphere amazing was amazing, great vibe but that’s about it unfortunately! Wanted to love it but from the start but we had 8pm reservation didn’t get sat till 9pm .. took forever to get drinks .. food took extremely long . Was extremely overpriced for the quality of food . Our server was not as attentive and attention to detail as I would want for our $500 tab .. I would think for a birthday dinner a small dessert comp would have been nice gesture but they gave nothing! Once again another Tuscan over priced restaurant in our area , extremely disappointed ud83dude22

Server was very friendly.nGot the dry aged steak. It had the most odd things on the plate. Ketchup? Some weird butter with no flavor? A giant sprig of Rosemary, and a roasted bulb of garlic. Unless I missed something I was very confused. And also annoyed my 50 dollar steak had no sides with it. Just the steak. 50 bucks.nThe meatball appetizer was ok. Desperately needed seasoning.nMy gin cocktail had no booze in it.nAlso blaring club/house music doesn’t really fit a “Tuscan” type vibe.nDefinitely won’t be back but at least service was good.

Went for dinner.. got the 36 oz tomahawk with the lobster tail. Absolutely delicious. Also got the jumbo sea scallops which we were also impressed with. Would recommend this place if you want good service and food. You get what you pay for. If you’re going with dessert the Italian donuts are a must

Easy to find location and just steps from their Tuscan kitchen market where you can buy yummy treats to take home. Our service was Fantastic with a very knowledgeable waiter who knew his wines! We order a lite fare for lunch, so tasty we will be back for dinner real soon!
