Had a great first time class there, this past weekend . They have a beautiful space. I really enjoyed the instructor, she gave clear and deliberate direction. the vibe was excellent.

We loved yoga Smith. Wilhema Bradley is amazing. Her sessions leave me relaxed and grateful.

My wife and I stayed in Portsmouth for three weeks, and I stumbled into Zev Yoga on our first morning in town. We loved this this studio from the first moment, and Jonas offered us a long-term visitors membership. I would highly recommend!

Jonas' Zev Yoga is one of the best yoga experiences i have ever had. I have been practicing yoga for 19 years now between here and California and I can truly say that Jonas special something and emphasis on the breath make it a truly wonderful Yoga experience. One of the worst studios I have ever been to. Besides Ankati (who is amazing and a true teacher who values her students and the practice), the teachers have no focus on alignment. There were a few classes where the teachers wouldn't even remember to do the same thing on the opposite side of the body. They also neglected to correct students postures and alignment, which does not help students but can actually hurt them. This is especially damaging for new students, who trust that the teacher will guide them to the right posture. Every class I took, I left so irritated. It seemed like the teachers had no connection to the philosophy of yoga, how it can heal the mind, body, and soul, and didn't care about their students. Rather, they just threw together whatever poses they found in a book but had no real training on alignment or flow. I'd recommend that the owner of this studio take each of the classes to see what I'm talking about, and then hire teachers who will lead their students in a compassionate, educated way to health and healing.
