Waterville Campground

It doesn't get better than this when you are looking for a primitive place to camp. The sites along the river are the best. There is a very modern, clean, out house and a dumpster. You also can use the well pump to get water to wash your dishes. The wonderful mad river trail is and others are connected to campground. Dog friendly. Host lives in site and us very nice. They sell wood at campground.

Such a great experience! Gorgeous view and access to Mad River. The host was particularly wonderful and his dog, Rocky was super friendly. Would so stay here again!

Campsites were adequate in size but right on top of each other. Host was nice. Bathrooms are outhouses and there is no showers . Which is all listed on the website.

Everytime we visit this campground I continue to be impressed. Quite, small and well maintained. A great place to relax.

Good experience overall and definitely should stay a couple nights. Water is fresh, cool, and interesting to pump. Hosts are always polite and kind. Good experience!
