Blair Covered Bridge

Enjoyed our drive through the Blair Covered Bridge over the Pemiewasset River, on our way to Beebe falls.nThe blair bridge is strudy, cool, spooky and fascinating all rolled into one. I wish I could cover it on foot for a more up-close and personal experience.nThe low water level in the Pemigswasset river, enabling bolders to peep above the water added to the overall effect and setting.

Just shy of being a 300' covered bridge in our great state of New Hampshire. Breathtaking architecture and the views of the bridge were spectacularif you are fortunate enough to park your vehicle and walk on it it is a one-lane bridge where people take turns crossing. Seven minutes down the road was another covered bridge called Bump bridge very easy to get to an extremely peaceful as there's a farm in the distance a small babbling brook just beautiful.

Lovely bridge over the Pemigiwasset river. Look for the historical markers near the west entrance. Bridge is two way, single lane, one car at a time; please be polite and wait your turn. Turning on your headlights is vitally important for safety. Without them, oncoming cars may not be able to see you, as there is only natural light during the day. Traveling slowly on the bridge helps extend its life. Lights are especially important for bicyclists. Check out the Covered Bridge restaurant on the west side; has seasonal riverside, outdoor seating. Or, take a short hike down to the river in the nearby Blair woods conservation area.

Scenic, great place for pictures

Just gorgeous. The craftsmanship but also how do you beat that view!?!? Worth the stop .
