Foothills Family Campground

I am very grateful for the owners of the campground. They are terrific and go out of their way to make each and every camper, either seasonal or transit, comfortable and happy that they are at Foothills. Thank you very much Laura and Pat.

My husband son and dog spent from the time they opened till they closed. The husband and wife owner went out of their way if we need help. There hard working children and safe had been the same. Kind, and actually listen to issues if you had an. People need to remember this was there first year and they got hit with covid-19 regulations and drought. Give them change.

I cannot emphasize strongly enough how wonderful of a campground this is -- it's quiet, immaculately clean, professionally run, and friendly. I had hurt my ankle just before arriving, and not only did the owners provide me ice, but let me use a big cooler, too; they checked up on me when a storm hit, were really careful with COVID regulations, and made me feel completely safe and comfortable the whole time I was there. I have stayed at so many campgrounds, and never once thought about writing a review. Foothills, though, is special. What a great place!

We stumbled across the Foothills by chance. Trying to get a site in the White Mountains was next to impossible, everything was full. Ended up in Tamworth expecting another disappointment but got lucky and booked the Adirondack site for two nights. Great spot! Our second day there our truck died and we had help from fellow campers and the owner himself. They selflessly gave up their time to give us a ride into town to get the needed parts to fix our truck as well as the tools needed. We can’t say enough great things about this place! May have been an accident we found it, but it was meant to be and you better believe we’ll be back!

New owners and they have done a great job getting the campground ship shape. If you had camped previously please give the new owners a chance. I think you will like camping here
