Kahuna Laguna Indoor Water Park

The kids and I recently spent 4 days and 3 nights at the Red Jacket Inn and visited the water park 3 of those days. We were there with a group and the kids enjoyed getting to see their friends. My children are 4 and 11 and there was plenty to keep them both busy and happy. We liked that the wave pool was intermittent so they had a chance to just swim while the water was quiet, and then ride the waves when they were going. My 4 year old loved the slides for smaller children and went on them over and over. The water was a couple degrees cooler than I would have liked, and my 4 year old I were shivering after an hour so we would go to the water park for an hour, then back to our hotel room for a shower, rest and food, and then back to the water park later. The rhythm seemed to work really well for all of us. The last day there we all 3 got itchy from the water, so that was a big bummer, but it had been fine the other days.

Just took my family here and had an incredible, fun filled weekend! My kids actually asked if we can make this trip a new family tradition to come back each year because they loved it so much and I definitely think that's a wonderful idea! It truly was fun for the whole family (adults included!) and I highly recommend going! The set-up is great, wonderfully helpful and courteous staff, and they're taking all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe and sanitized due to covid.

What a great place for the family. Things for littles and adults. Wave pool, 4 big slides (2 with and 2 without tubes), jungle gym style play area, hot tub, little slides, and arcade. Staff was friendly. The place was clean. Our room was comfortable. I forgot to get pictures of the room. We were there during colder months, but there is an outdoor playground, and an outdoor pool (closed during winter).

All kids (7-18) had a good time. Wish there was also a pool to swim in inside during the winter for the older kids. Only downfall is there aren't many chairs and although there are plenty of FREE locker rentals everyone saves a seat with all their stuff, so the moms with little kids can't just sit and watch them. All 4 days we were there I was never able to sit...but saw ALL the chairs full of things and during the time we were there not one person sat in those chairs. There really should be a policy that you have to get a locker.

The staff here very clearly doesn’t care about the upkeep of the property. The property is left unsafe. The sidewalk leading to a room Inside the building was a solid sheet of ice. My wife slipped, fell and injured herself. This place admitted to knowing about it and did nothing until somebody got injured. Then the restaurant here literally got our whole order wrong and we had to wait over an hour to get our food done. Like to be fair the water park was ok and the location was good. But the staff and safety of the place left a lot to be desired.
