Norden Chute

So pretty, it’s amazing how much water goes through the chute under the bridge every second. It is mesmerizing to watch. Local folk say it’s a dangerous undertow but a good place to fish. I can’t wait to go back. Its way off the beaten path ~ so it’s one of Nebraska’s hidden gems!

This was an interesting area to visit. The chute is loud and mesmerizing. You have to travel down gravel roads to get to this secluded area. There is a small gravel area to pull over and park but the best view is from the bridge that the road already leads to. There was no traffic whatsoever so we were about to view it and take photos from the bridge!

A beautiful place to visit in Nebraska. The river and chute are calming. You have a great view from the bridge, but can walk across the river and up to the chute if you are a bit adventurous.

Very pretty, off the beaten path place to visit.
