The people who assisted us there were very well versed in the area's history and wonderfully helpful. There are thousands of toys, military, railroad, and various clothing and household items on display along with the buildings outside to explore. You will want to spend at least 3 or 4 hours to see it all

Great place. A lot of great history. Antiques. The lady there took us to all of the buildings and was very friendly and nice to visit with. There is so much to see!

Don't miss the turn on the highway! What a great free museum! They had a huge collection ranging from electronics, clothing, toys, musical instruments, rocks and more! It was well organized and the volunteers running it were super nice. There are old buildings surrounding the main museum with even more stuff including antique cars. It is a sharp turn off the highway so watch for the billboards and try not to miss the turn. Well worth and enjoyed the couple of hours we spent here. If you are travelling through Chadron, you must visit this delightful museum!!
