Danish Alps State Recreation Area

Very nice park. Love fishing from and has a nice trail around the lake. Absolutely love going out here for days with the boys.

Good lake overall fishing is ok are game and parks can do better

Dear Nebraska Game & Parks -- If you are going to call this a state park you need to pave the road coming off of hiway 35 all the way to the boat ramp. And take down those stupid railings on the boat docks. Those things are nothing but a pain in the butt when you are trying to put your boat in. Of all the places I go this is the only place that has them. Lets do things the smart way. OK?

The showers did not work in any of the men's bathrooms. In one of the bathrooms the same hand written sign that was on last season was still on the shower indicating that it still hasn't been fixed from over a year ago. For the price of $35 a night, You would think that at least the showers would not be pay showers. I don't like the idea of having to pay for a shower with well water. I have never been in a campground where I had to pay to use the shower especially after paying $35 a night.
