The guy that runs this place is awesome! I camped for 2 nights in one of the tent spots and it was lovely. I’m from Colorado and used to mountain camping, so the river sunsets and fireflies were a beautiful surprise.nnVERY CLEAN and friendly campers and staff, even with COVID I felt really safe and welcomed. Thanks!!

Cool place to fish if you want BIG fish. Can get snagged a lot so be prepared to lose a lot of gear. There's also a wheelchair accessible area to fish from. Awesome!!

It was a very busy place. Very clean. Great camp host. Howard would do anything for a camper to help him out.

the biggest issue whiptail Waters area is that too many people are not cleaning up after themselves. Just today my brother and I hauled a large black garbage bag of trash out of the area from other people. If you bring something in then take it out with you.

Great area. Clean bathrooms and wash area. Stayed 3 days!
