Blue Heron Campground

Love this place! Nice, quiet and the owners are amazing! Sad that it's closing!!

I'm sure this was a beautiful place at one time. Currently, it is weedy and unkempt. Playground equipment is ancient and unsafe. Store/office open 2 hours in a.m. and 4 hours in p.m. only. Owner extremely nice and helpful.

Wonderful staff, helpful and friendly. Great prices, recognizes Good Sam. Just off the interstate. Easy to get into and out of. Nice little store and grounds. I would stay here again.

We love staying at this place because it is rustic. The hosts are charming and very welcoming. They are always willing to make our stay a great experience. I love the tall trees and the quietness of the campground. What I really like is they don't charge for extra people above two, and we weren't charged for having pets like other campgrounds.

Storm had gone thru, but they were piling up down branches and mowing. Comfy, old campground by the Platte River. Nice to have shade trees!!
